THE CHALLENGE 

 

 

To all business leaders, community leaders and every-day Americans:  I want to encourage you to welcome home our brave military personnel from the Wars in Iraq and Afghanistan in a manner fitting of a hometown hero. 

Let's make sure that our returning military never again experiences what our Vietnam Veterans experienced. 

Let's make sure that the morale of our returning military remains high and we help them readjust to life back here in the United States. 

And let's make sure that our youth can identify real American heroes, and they model their courage, rather than the behavior they see on the streets.
